Tell Us Your Story:

I’m Bill’s son. It’s 1:32am, Sunday, May 15th. Dad had 8 plus hours of Dissected Aorta Surgery this afternoon (Saturday the 14th). It started the morning of the Friday the 13th about 5:00am. Two trips to the ER. One Friday afternoon/evening and then again this morning, Saturday. The doctor today (Saturday) must have put the S&S together because he ordered a CAT Scan.

When the results came in, there was immediate action with the ER staff and the doc. I figured when I heard them talking and told Dad he was going to have heart surgery. The doctor came in a bit later and confirmed it. I left Dad a few hours ago.

He is out of surgery and in Intensive Care on a ventilator. He looks good. Time will tell. I’ll write up the full story but right now I am too tired after about 48 hours of no sleep
