Pain… that’s what I have been in lately. I was just over (about 2 months) of my last back issue and was playing some of the best tennis of my life-getting ready for the Washington State Open Men’s 45 division. However, I was trying to be a nice guy and was helping a new gal at work put her chair together. I tried to somehow lift it after we put the legs on and …bingo… I felt it go, not quite as bad as last time. So, like an idiot, I tried one of my mother in law’s oxycotin pills. I figured I’d take the 20mg pill and cut in it half. Dumb! I am allergic to pain meds and ended up halving to leave work early, threw up on the way home and stayed in best pretty much the rest of the day.
This time, I went and saw my doctor, and got my other pain medication Tramdal or something like that and I am taking half of one pill, it seems to work and Advil. I also bought a portable massage thing from Target to help with my back and icepacks, stretching, the usual stuff. I just want it to get my back healed before the tennis tournament.
I had also dropped about 7 lbs and was trying to get down to 210. That’s my next goal weight. I have about 5 lbs to go. Or… we finished the swing set for my daughter as well. BTW… I was lifting 60 (12) and 80 (10) of these bags which I probably shouldn’t have been doing, but I was using my legs. I finished it up yesterday and put on the two swings and my kids love it. It’s huge!.. but anything for them!
My itch for a motorcycle/scooter has raised it’s head again and I am looking at a Suzuki Burgman 650 2005. It’s a big scooter and I just want something to be able to go and ride for 30 minutes and come back home and park it. I put an ad on Craigslist and got an email from a guy who’s looking to sell his and my requested price and I don’t have to pay to ship it. I have been looking all over the US, via the CraigLook.com search tool. You should try it!
My son has his echo cardiogram scheduled at Children’s in 2 weeks, I pray that his aorta and valve/heart are all normal-I TRULY DO! My daughter’s already had hers and it was normal. GOD thank you!
