Hello. I have always liked sports. It was a very beautiful day, sunny and bright, when I was biking back home, I had been swimming. I went home, a friend came by and we talked. Suddenly I started to feel weird, everything multiplied, and I felt all the blood from my head started to go down on the chest. I was not able to stand , I had to lay down for awhile. There was a pain on my chest I could not escape. My friend who is a dentist told me I had been chewing my teeth so that’s why I felt like that, as a joke. I knew something was not right. I drove to the hospital, I waited few hours to get in.
There was a young intern who examined me and sent me home giving me Tramal and telling to come back if I feel worse. I drove home. I tried to sleep, I could not. There was no positioning I could be in, I felt terrible so I decided to go back. I took my car and I drove back. I waited once again hours to get in. At last there was a doctor who understood to consult a specialist, who sent me to CT-scan. I waited again many hours to get in the scan, and when I finally got in, I felt just terrible. Luckily there was a friend with me. When I got out of scan I hears someone saying something about it, and it was not good. Doctor came and then I knew was going to die, at least I thought like that.
I knew many people in my family and relatives had died in this, so I thought it was my turn now. I never forget the feeling when I knew in my mind I would die. I got into the surgery. Afterwords the surgeon told me one more hour- and I would have died. I survived. I got another dissection in my ascending aorta also, it healed, which was a little miracle. I got dissection in my both legs, walked few months almost with one leg. After the surgery my heart was full of blood which had to taken off by a surgery.
I was in a lot of pain for a month which I spent in the hospital. I cried myself asleep from the pain every night even I had the pain pump. Now I am OK, I guess. Every now and then I see everything in two or more, but it lasts only few minutes and goes away. Sometimes I still have pain in the back of my arms. The pain there was phenomenal even after the surgery from time to time. I started from little walks, with “one” leg. Now I do sports almost every day and have a good life, as long as it lasts but you can never tell anyway. This is a short version of all, so much has happened since.
