I found this picture on Google a few minutes ago. I am just plain tired. I had been trying to come up with a new WordPress theme for my blog and went on a tangent down one road. That eventually led me into a more “developers” type of site. I just am not the techy geekly type of guy who can really write and understand some of this funky codes. I am a legacy Front Page 2003 guy who built my first site, www.aorticdissection.com and to this day still maintain it. I figured it was time to change. Well, I had to have my WordPress upgraded to the latest version, I had to pay for this present theme, I decided to add a “donation” link on my forum site, www.aorticdissection.com/Forums and I now need to upgrade that software. All in the name of just trying to share my life as an aortic dissection survivor! It is literally amazing to be still about this entire “social media” frenzy that is going on-not to mention stressful to try and keep up. The Internet has so much potential, I just hope that the elderly population will be able to at least give it a try and not try and worry about everything there is to learn. Heck.. I can’t keep up with my facebook and I am sure that nobody is going to track me on Twitter! LOL!
Well, it’s back to work tomorrow, I took the day off today to guess what? Work on my website and try to get some work done from home. My mother in law is not well and might have bladder cancer and my wife and her sister and trying to figure out the best game plan for her. Wow… I was watching the show on Discovery called “Trauma in the ER Room” or something close to that. Wow… they had patient come in the other night and thought he had a dissection, but… luckily it turned out not to be one. Those ER doctors are something else! What a rush they must get being able to try their best to save lives! I know my surgeon, Dr. James Brevig was a true miracle worker and all of his associates that helped him through the night to perform the successful surgery on me. I am getting ready for the tennis tourney that starts on the 21st. I am going to just show up to my match and not even look on the draw who I play, I feel confident that I can hold my own against anyone I will run into there.
Happy MLK Day!
Brian
